Beaver Management Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest

The Applegate Partnership & Watershed Council (APWC) invites interested parties to submit a proposal for completion of work for the following services/tasks:

  1. Beaver Management Plan
    1. Consult with the APWC & local USFS Fisheries Biologists to create, draft and finalize a Beaver Management Plan for the east side of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest (RRSNF); including: Wild Rivers, Siskiyou Mountains, and High Cascades Ranger Districts.
  2. Relocation Suitability Evaluation on RRSNF
    1. Consult with the APWC & local USFS Fisheries Biologists to conduct field work that will evaluate and identify suitable sites in the RRSNF for relocation of problem beaver from private lands to suitable habitat on the RRSNF.
  3. Enhancement of Instream Habitat
    1. Consult with the APWC & local USFS Fisheries Biologists to propose appropriate sites for the development of instream habitat enhancement projects.
    2. Develop and design a project ready for implementation for enhancement of instream habitat at a minimum of 1 site on the RRSNF.
